Dope Addiction
ADHD is significantly misunderstood even in the psychology community where it is supposed to be studied scientifically. People with ADHD can have a gene variation known as 7R which essentially leads to a lack of dopamine. Behavior suggests that people with this variation who have ADHD tend to engage in risky behaviors to supplement their need for dopamine. ADHD leads to a variety of disruptive behaviors that can hinder and sometimes halt everyday life, and this is a topic that needs more dedicated research.
